Salt


"Salt" is an amazing guy. Not only does he have the ability to raise 50 lbs of dirt above his head, but he can read upwards of 80 words a minute. He boasts to be the only person from Delaware to "get out".

"Salt", as he was dubbed at Virginia Tech about a decade ago, comes from the Richmond, Virginia radio market where he flourished as a slack, afternoon drive, co-host/comedic foil for SportsRadio 910 as well as weekend jock on 102.1 the X. He also swept the floors; they were spotless. In his tenure in Richmond, Salt worked his way up from part-time weekend board operator for football games to the "seasoned" (it’s a pun people) broadcaster you wake up to daily.

Salt studied architecture at Virginia Tech in the mid-90’s. As all his designs seemed to resemble Barbie’s Dream House, he transferred to Philadelphia to pursue a course of study in industrial design concentrating on toy design. His designs made kids cry. He got into construction. With workman’s comp insurance being what it was he got out of that racket and got into radio.

One of Salt’s strengths is his innate ability to match clothing not only color but a fabric’s pattern and texture. His fingers are as nimble as a hummingbird when he does light origami work. He can be funny too.
